This Privacy Policy explains how Coflux ("Coflux," "we," "us") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use coflux-ai.com, our application, browser extension, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account & Profile Information
When you create an account or join our waitlist, we may collect:
- Name and email address
- Password or authentication credentials
- Workspace and account preferences
- Billing and subscription status
1.2 Identity, Content & Product Data
To personalize generation and publishing, we process:
- Identity / persona information you provide (background, story, offers, audience, voice, writing style)
- Chat messages, drafts, Knowledge Base items, templates, and related content you upload or create
- Scheduled and published LinkedIn posts and associated metadata
- Usage data such as feature usage, credit consumption, and generation history
1.3 LinkedIn Connection Data
If you connect LinkedIn, we receive tokens and profile information needed to authenticate, publish, and schedule posts on your behalf, subject to LinkedIn's permissions and policies.
1.4 Payment Information
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments. We do not store full payment card numbers. We may receive billing-related identifiers, plan details, invoices, and payment status from our payment provider.
1.5 Automatically Collected Information
When you visit our website or use the Service, we may automatically collect:
- Device, browser, and approximate location information
- IP address, pages viewed, referring URLs, and interaction events
- Cookies and similar technologies used for analytics, security, and product improvement
We use tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for analytics and measurement.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service
- Generate personalized LinkedIn content using your identity, chats, Knowledge Base, and (where relevant) web search
- Schedule and publish content to LinkedIn at your direction
- Process subscriptions, credits, and billing
- Authenticate users, prevent fraud, and maintain security
- Communicate about the Service, including product updates, support, and material policy changes
- Analyze usage to improve product performance and user experience
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your identity data or private content to train models for the benefit of other customers.
3. AI & Third-Party Processing
To deliver the Service, we share necessary data with trusted processors, including:
- Groq — AI model inference for content generation
- Tavily — real-time web search grounding, where relevant
- Cohere — supporting AI / embedding-related processing where used
- LinkedIn — account connection, publishing, and scheduling
- Dodo Payments — subscription and payment processing
- Analytics providers (e.g. Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager) — product and marketing analytics
These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to us and are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
4. Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Keep you signed in and secure your session
- Remember preferences
- Understand how the website and product are used
- Improve performance and measure marketing effectiveness
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may limit some features of the Service.
5. How We Share Information
We may share information:
- With service providers who help us operate the Service (hosting, AI, payments, analytics, email)
- With LinkedIn when you connect your account or publish/schedule content
- If required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Coflux, our users, or the public
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We may also retain certain information as required by law, to resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or maintain security and audit records.
You may request account deletion at any time. After deletion, we will delete or anonymize personal data unless we are legally required to retain it.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for notifying us promptly of any unauthorized access.
8. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account or certain data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Export a copy of your data where applicable
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

You may also disconnect LinkedIn from within the product settings, unsubscribe from marketing emails, and manage cookies in your browser.
9. International Data Transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
11. Third-Party Links & Services
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party sites and services (including LinkedIn and payment providers). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice, or by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
